they live rent free in my head

"Instruments that record, analyse, summarize, organise, debate and explain information that are illustrative, non illustrative, hard bound paper bag jacketed, non jacketed, with forward introduction table of contents, index that are intended for the enlightenment, understanding, enrichment, enhancement and education of the human brain through sensory route of vision... some times touched"

The Good

“A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies, said Jojen. The man who never reads lives only one.”
~ George R.R. Martin, A Dance with Dragons
  • BM Clemton
    • I like her series. The writing is not as good as JK Rowling, Uncle Rick, etc, but not bad for RH
  • M Sinclair
    • Same as BM Clemton, but I'd say just not as good.
  • Elsie Silver
  • Ana Huang
    • obviously
  • Neva Altaj
  • Emilia Rossi
    • Up-coming author, so not a lot of books. Empire of Royals series was pretty decent, but Book 3 was significantly worse than the first two imo.
  • Claimed by the Damned - Wren Fox
    • I liked it, but I haven't re-read it yet. I find that once I re-read something I am better at placing it in one of these categories.
  • Dark Devotions by Nichole Greene
    • Greene handled sensitive topics really well! Much better than other authors have.
  • J Rose
    • Only read 2 of her books, but they seem fairly good, so I think I'll read more as they come out.
  • Trouble (Boston Bolts Hockey) - Britannee Nicole
    • Liked the characters! I would have like to see more of them though. Maybe a sequel, even though there was an HEA...
  • Warrior Princess Assassin - Brigid Kemmerer
  • J Bree
  • Ruthless Boys of the Zodiac - Caroline Peckham and Susuanne Valenti
    • Not read Zodiac Academy yet, but its on my TBR
  • Shifter Guardians Academy - Elizabeth Dear
  • Hannah Haze
  • Lily Gold
  • A Knight's Revenge

The Bad

“Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe.”
        ~ Albert Einstein

  • Lauren Asher
    • Not horrible, but her characters didn't stick and were easily forgotten.
  • Sasha Leone
    • Not great. This was the first mafia author I read, and I thought she was good at the time, but I have since read far better. Her books are not something I ever will or have ever wanted to re-read.
  • Willow Dixon
    • Honestly she could go into the Good, but for now I'll keep her here, until I re-read.
  • Rina Kent
    • Everyone says she's amazing. She isn't bad! Definitely not bad! But, I only like God of Fury so.....Maybe it'll change when I read a few other books.
  • Beautiful Storm by Katherin Jay
    • Didn't stick with me. Don't remember it. Need I say more?
  • Fake Empire - CW Farnsworth
  • Jasmine Mas
  • Suzanne Wright
    • Her books tend to shift between The Good and The Bad, so she can go in both to be honest..
  • Tessa Hale
    • Same as Suzanne Wright, though I'd say she leans more towards The Good.
  • Private Listing
    • I've only read Book 1, but there is too much smut and too little plot. But it is good quality smut so...

The Ugly

“We are lucky to die without having read some books, and without having heard some songs.”
        ~ Mokokoma Mokhonoana

  • Nabbed by the Bratva
  • Kiss of Darkness - Taylor Aston White
  • The Mafia Boss' Nanny - Fiona Davenport
    • DNF after a few chapters

 *NOTE:

  1. These are not following any order.
  2. "The Bad" are not bad books! They are just decent, somewhere in the middle books. "The Ugly" are the books I didn't like at all.
